This is such a dreamy, little boutique to look for your perfect dress! The workers are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they made the experience so much better.

So fortunate to have been able to get not only my homecoming and prom dresses here about a decade ago, but also to have found the *perfect* wedding gown just the other day 🙂 lovely, patient staff who were accommodating (I dislike being the center of attention, so was out of my comfort zone). I'm awful with names, but the bridal stylist who helped me was so sweet and helpful. She gave me tips on how the dress will need to be altered (just slightly) as well (above and beyond!)

I visited shops in both Virginia and North Carolina with my daughter and this one stood out among them all. Nan and her staff were incredibly helpful. The shop was clean, tastefully decorated, and had many dress and accessory options to choose from. They helped my daughter find exactly what she dreamed of well within her budget. And, they were very attentive in the trying on process, helping and advising as needed. When she chose something that lit up her smile, the partnering seamstress found affordable ways to perfect the fit. Overall our favorite bridal shop of them all.

Nothing but 5 star experiences at She Said Yes. I recommend them to anyone shopping for a wedding gown, prom dress, wedding guest or just formalwear.
I went shopping for my wedding dress off the rack here, and the selection was great. I ended up getting a different wedding dress elsewhere, but had a few “top choices” here that would have all been amazing had I not found “the one” elsewhere. They carry a wide range of sizes and have racks full of various styles at every price point and size. But the thing that really makes SSY stand out is the amazing service. The patience and attentiveness of the ladies who work there is unmatched. So many bridal boutiques in the northern VA area tend to be uptight and strict about appointment times, how many dresses you can try etc., but I never felt any of that here. I was never rushed and the ladies were so supportive of me, helping me think through all my choices. They also had great insights on what alterations could be done to each dress and how much they would cost. I felt such relief and comfort working with them and really felt cared for.
My mom also tried several formal gowns for my wedding, and they had a great selection for that as well.
A general note that since they sell off the rack items the selection varies based on when they get new pieces in. If looking for something specific I recommend chatting with the employees and asking them when they’re getting new pieces, they were really forthcoming with letting us know when new looks would be arriving so we could come back and browse the new selection.
They also carry shoes and accessories, even fun pieces for bachelorette parties and bridal showers. I did end up buying a pair of heels here for my wedding at a great price point!
Between the solid selection, friendly service, and affordability, I can’t recommend SSY enough!

Took my daughter shopping for a prom gown, we came from West Virginia because it's very difficult to find pretty dresses in her size. I was immediately greeted upon entering the store. The staff made my daughter feel special and beautiful. I was impressed with the range of sizes they carry along with shoes and accessories. Within 30 minutes my teen had found the dress of her dreams and the price was phenomenal. Just an all around fabulous place to shop for prom and wedding gowns.

Went looking at wedding dresses and veils here with my bridesmaids and we had a fantastic time at this little store. They offer a surprisingly diverse selection in terms of fashion and price and the sales associates were super helpful both times I went. One thing to note is that sales are made off the rack, so there is no ordering something in your size and the dress you see is the dress you get, but they also have in-house tailoring services to help tailor your dress to your size. It does take some time, but the results are beautiful and will truly make the dress you select feel like *your* dress.

I came here in hopes of finding a dress a couple of weeks before my wedding. There were complications with my original dress and I was in a panic. Hannah helped me from the second I walked in the door to the second I left. She was looking at the dresses my mom and I had picked out and was asking questions about what I liked and didn't like. On January 21, 2023, I had my bridal appointment at She Said Yes Bridal Boutique. Walking in there with my Maid of Honor, Ashley, one of my bridesmaid, Nicole, and my grandmother, I was excited about this next step in planning our special day! My consultant, Hannah, was PHENOMENAL! After trying on a few dresses, I was discouraged a little bit but me telling Hannah my style and what I wanted, she went out and found my dress! She was amazing with joking and making everyone laugh and feel comfortable but also multitasking to fill my needs and wants during my appointment. When I tried on my dress, I walked out and it wasn’t buttoned all the way which she helped with, in that moment, Hannah, my best friend, her sister, and my grandmother all knew I had found “the one.” I didn’t even think the feeling was real but let me tell you, it is! I didn’t want to take it off and it was the only dress I tried on more than once. Hannah was able to set up where I could make payments on my dress which was a major help! The other day, I walked in hoping to see her but she had a day off and I seen Madison who I cheered with in high school and asked her if I could just look at my dress and she was so excited for me and could also see my face glowing. During that visit, I met the owner Nan who has agreed to marry my fiancée and I which is a blessing! Today, I took my seven year old son in the boutique and tried on my dress. Walking out of the fitting room, my son walked up to me and hugged me and said I looked beautiful which made myself feel even more confident about this dress. Nan, Hannah, and Terry who does alterations there all said my dress looked absolutely gorgeous and that it suited me. Trying it on again for the fourth time was like trying it on for the first time. I absolutely adore these AMAZING women and love them all to death!

We just left there and I just couldn’t wait to do this review. The experience we had here you just can’t get at those big wedding dress stores. I was not the bride picking out the dress, but as the maid of honor I can truly say I could not have asked for a better experience watching my friend glow with excitement the minute we walked in. All the consultants are so friendly and matched her excitement and energy. However, what truly made the experience was our consultant Hannah. She knew so much about wedding dresses and was so personable. Cracking jokes with us like she was part of the bridal party and made everyone feel so welcomed. The private room to try on dresses, the low prices, the amount of dresses, and the cute photo booth they have set up were just some of the added bonuses. I initially booked an appointment to just browse the bridal selection, but I ended up trying things on and leaving with *the* dress! Wow! What an amazing experience! I took three of my daughter’s ball gowns to She Said Yes, and they all sold within two weeks! I had considered trying to sell them on Poshmark or Facebook Marketplace, but didn’t have time to invest in taking quality photos and writing detailed descriptions with measurements necessary for an online listing. The staff at She Said Yes Boutique were efficient and professional. The boutique is neat and bright and features a wide selection of gorgeous formal wear, along with dressing rooms. They helped me price the dresses and answered all my questions about the process. But the results speak for themselves! My daughter’s beautiful gowns are being enjoyed by other young ladies. I have cash in my pocket and room in my closet and I didn’t have to take calls, schedule meet-ups or deal with price haggling! When I walked in to look at dresses to see their selection initially, Nan was so sweet and also helped with vendor suggestions and welcomed me back to try on dresses to get an idea of what I liked before bringing my my girls. I had an amazing experience looking for a wedding dress. My big venue wedding was postponed due to Covid but we decided last minute to still get married on our original date. I decided I wanted To save my original dress for my big wedding so I went on the hunt for a new dress a few weeks before and found She Said Yes Boutique. Not only was the staff super sweet, they were able to make it a really intimate experience for my mom and I. I can’t recommend this boutique enough. Not the mention that their prices were super affordable and had a great selection of sizes, as well as accessories. I ended up getting a dress, the veil, a hair comb, and a belt for the dress for well under my budget. Pictures don’t do it justice for how beautiful this dress is and sparkles in the sun. ALSO it had pockets !!

Buyers Beware....I really am not one to write a negative review but feel the need to make others aware. First off, my initial experience was amazing and I was so happy with my purchase as I posted earlier. With that being said, I bought the dress with the understanding that they would assist in making the dress the "She Said Yes" dress as it needed to have bigger straps attached to the gown to make it perfect for me. When we were there trying them on, there were two that were very much alike except one was white (bigger straps) and one was off white(spaghetti straps). The color of the off white worked better with my skin tones so the boutique and the seamstress both said that they (the shop) would be able to add thicker straps to make it my "She Said Yes " Wedding Dress, even showing me what it would like by temporarily putting wider lace on the straps to give me the effect I wanted. I bought this dress with the understanding they were going to be able to make this happen. They said call in the beginning of Feb to make an appointment which I did , at that time the seamstress told me she had no availability as it is prom season. I reminded her of the straps and she suggested I come to the shop to see what they had but I would still have to go elsewhere for alterations. My cousin and I went yesterday, although I thought her to be very sweet( I was just wanting this to be resolved), my cousin noted she was condescending and was doing her best to get us out of the shop quickly. She offered a piece of material that was not matching in color, material, design and not even enough for one strap. She, then, suggested we go to JOANNs Fabric and see if they could help us. I bought the dress that day because of their assurance that they could and would easily make the alteration to provide the bigger straps without any problem. Now I am stuck with a dress (no returns allowed) that isn't exactly what I want, fabric that we are not sure is going to work for the straps and asking a seamstress who didn't make those assurances to me to hopefully make it my "Say Yes to the Dress". The boutique was quick to make the sale but failed completely in following through with the promises to make it my "She said Yes" Dress and thus adding a time consuming and stressful task to an already task filled couple of weeks before our wedding.

I got my wedding dress and a few of the bridesmaids dresses here 4 1/2 years ago. I walk in and the owner still knows my name this is a family run business and they treat you like family no other place I’d rather go this is where I stand on my friends this should be your first place you look for your dresses here in Winchester I don’t know about you but I’d like it when I can walk into a store no matter how busy they are if they see you they take time to come up and give you a hug and talk to you and know who you are by your first name

I highly recommend She Said Yes. Super cute shop & very friendly staff. Due to unseen circumstances, my young son (4) had to tag along with us to find a dress for his sis. By the time we arrived at She Said Yes he was done. Whiny & not listening. Nan & Meaghan were SO understanding & jumped right in to help a stressed out mama! They got him happy & settled. I was so appreciative of their efforts. He was given a lollipop & a small box of cars. While we didn’t make a purchase that day, we will always keep the shop in mind for HOCO & prom dresses. There aren’t enough stars for Nan & Hannah! Everything about our experience was perfect. We never felt rushed and we took our time to try on several different types/sizes/shapes. Hannah was so helpful and picked out just the right accessories. We got a designer look at an amazing price. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So happy I came here and found the perfect dress for my wedding day at an affordable price. I was looking for something specific as we were doing a Gatsby/1920s themed wedding.
