I cannot not say enough good things about this shop and owner. She is so nice and easy to talk to and will try hard to find you the perfect dress that won't break the budget. (I shopped at a few bridal shops and did not feel very welcome as I am a second time bride and can't spend thousands of dollars). There are plenty of beautiful dresses to choose from and she always has more coming in.

Thank you for the perfect dress and fabulous shopping experience. After a horrible experience wedding dress shopping 15 years ago, I swore I would shop around. Well, I didn't need to. Service was great and the dress was amazing!

Was greeted by two of the most sweetest girls as I walked in the door. Only giving a picture of my idea of a dress they nailed it ! Pulled 5 dresses and only had to try on 3. Being the last appointment of the day I never felt rushed and they were so kind and patient with me. Highly recommend!!

I found my dream wedding dress at this location! I though I would never be able to find a ballgown wedding dress in my price range until I visited them. The dress fit me perfectly and I couldn’t be happier! While I was trying on my dress I wanted to see what it would look like with shoes and they had a beautiful pair that was so me! I had the honor of working with all of the lovely ladies at She Said Yes! I walked into the store with no idea of what kind of dress I wanted for my wedding. Not only did I find one dress, I found two! Both were beautiful but my first pick was the perfect fit (well not "perfect" until Teri worked her magic). It looks amazing and it is totally ME! I found my wedding dress here today! My experience at She Said Yes was far better than my experience at another dress shop last weekend. They had a nice room for myself and my guests to be in while I tried on dresses. The girls were attentive and super helpful. I had picked 2 dresses to try and they did a great job picking others that fit the bill. I ended up going with one they picked out for me to try. I'd highly recommend She Said Yes for all your formall dress needs!

Went looking at wedding dresses and veils here with my bridesmaids and we had a fantastic time at this little store. They offer a surprisingly diverse selection in terms of fashion and price and the sales associates were super helpful both times I went. One thing to note is that sales are made off the rack, so there is no ordering something in your size and the dress you see is the dress you get, but they also have in-house tailoring services to help tailor your dress to your size. It does take some time, but the results are beautiful and will truly make the dress you select feel like *your* dress.

Everyone is absolutely wonderful! They are extremely helpful and just so sweet. Very personable and all around great. When I walked in to look at dresses to see their selection initially, Nan was so sweet and also helped with vendor suggestions and welcomed me back to try on dresses to get an idea of what I liked before bringing my my girls. Decided to try some on the next week by myself and they helped me find my dream dress! They were honest and caring, I couldn't have imagine a better experience and it's all thanks to these ladies! The prices are unbeatable and they have a wonderful selection. I have to give praise to the three ladies working there on Thursday 02/24/2022. From the moment we walked in the door they made us feel at home. My daughter was in a bind for a dress hers was messed up in ordering online. Nan helped us out the first one she tried on was the winner fit her like a glove no alterations needed. My daughter was looking for a Homecoming dress. The ladies were helpful, the selection was great, and the prices were amazing! I respect that when a girl buys a dress for Homecoming that they ask her what school she goes to and won't sell it to another girl from that school.

My daughter was scheduled for her first bridal gown fitting on Friday, but the seamstress had a family emergency and we did not get the message. They were so apologetic and sweet. We rescheduled the appointment and the owner was so gracious, she treated us with money to go out for lunch! Such incredible customer service, I highly recommend this beautiful boutique. Buyers Beware....I really am not one to write a negative review but feel the need to make others aware. First off, my initial experience was amazing and I was so happy with my purchase as I posted earlier. With that being said, I bought the dress with the understanding that they would assist in making the dress the "She Said Yes" dress as it needed to have bigger straps attached to the gown to make it perfect for me. When we were there trying them on, there were two that were very much alike except one was white (bigger straps) and one was off white(spaghetti straps). The color of the off white worked better with my skin tones so the boutique and the seamstress both said that they (the shop) would be able to add thicker straps to make it my "She Said Yes " Wedding Dress, even showing me what it would like by temporarily putting wider lace on the straps to give me the effect I wanted. I bought this dress with the understanding they were going to be able to make this happen. They said call in the beginning of Feb to make an appointment which I did , at that time the seamstress told me she had no availability as it is prom season. I reminded her of the straps and she suggested I come to the shop to see what they had but I would still have to go elsewhere for alterations. My cousin and I went yesterday, although I thought her to be very sweet( I was just wanting this to be resolved), my cousin noted she was condescending and was doing her best to get us out of the shop quickly. She offered a piece of material that was not matching in color, material, design and not even enough for one strap. She, then, suggested we go to JOANNs Fabric and see if they could help us. I bought the dress that day because of their assurance that they could and would easily make the alteration to provide the bigger straps without any problem. Now I am stuck with a dress (no returns allowed) that isn't exactly what I want, fabric that we are not sure is going to work for the straps and asking a seamstress who didn't make those assurances to me to hopefully make it my "Say Yes to the Dress". The boutique was quick to make the sale but failed completely in following through with the promises to make it my "She said Yes" Dress and thus adding a time consuming and stressful task to an already task filled couple of weeks before our wedding.

I visited shops in both Virginia and North Carolina with my daughter and this one stood out among them all. Nan and her staff were incredibly helpful. The shop was clean, tastefully decorated, and had many dress and accessory options to choose from. They helped my daughter find exactly what she dreamed of well within her budget. And, they were very attentive in the trying on process, helping and advising as needed. When she chose something that lit up her smile, the partnering seamstress found affordable ways to perfect the fit. Overall our favorite bridal shop of them all.

Took my daughter shopping for a prom gown, we came from West Virginia because it's very difficult to find pretty dresses in her size. I was immediately greeted upon entering the store. The staff made my daughter feel special and beautiful. I was impressed with the range of sizes they carry along with shoes and accessories. Within 30 minutes my teen had found the dress of her dreams and the price was phenomenal. Just an all around fabulous place to shop for prom and wedding gowns.

Not only was the staff super sweet, they were able to make it a really intimate experience for my mom and I. I can’t recommend this boutique enough. Not the mention that their prices were super affordable and had a great selection of sizes, as well as accessories. I ended up getting a dress, the veil, a hair comb, and a belt for the dress for well under my budget. Pictures don’t do it justice for how beautiful this dress is and sparkles in the sun. I initially booked an appointment to just browse the bridal selection, but I ended up trying things on and leaving with *the* dress! The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, helpful, honest—I can’t say enough great things! They also offer a wide range of dresse types/styles at varying, affordable price levels, which makes sticking to a budget very easy. My name is Brooke Russell and I am a local wedding planner. She Said Yes is the most elaborate Wedding/Prom Consignment shop in Winchester! She Said Yes generously donated a gorgeous full lace wedding dress, jewelry, headpiece, and make up bag (pictured in my last post)! I would definitely work with them again.

I highly recommend She Said Yes. Super cute shop & very friendly staff. Due to unseen circumstances, my young son (4) had to tag along with us to find a dress for his sis. By the time we arrived at She Said Yes he was done. Whiny & not listening. Nan & Meaghan were SO understanding & jumped right in to help a stressed out mama! They got him happy & settled. I was so appreciative of their efforts. He was given a lollipop & a small box of cars. While we didn’t make a purchase that day, we will always keep the shop in mind for HOCO & prom dresses. She Said Yes Consignment is awesome! I have dealt with several different staff members while looking for the perfect dress for our vow renewal and each one has been cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful and fast to provide service. They had new and used beautiful dresses to span all generations. If you have dresses in your closest, dust them off and bring them down! I will be back for all of my events.

The ladies here were AMAZING! Not only did they have consignment options, but also new and orderable options as well. I was down to 3 weeks before my wedding due to a disaster with my previous dress. These ladies were so very calming and ready and willing to help. THANK YOU LADIES!!!!

What an amazing place to shop for dresses! Everyone at the shop is so welcoming and they make you feel extremely comfortable. There are a few specific things that I want to highlight about my experience:

My appointment was originally Thursday and they let me reschedule to Saturday morning with no issues.

I came to my appointment solo on Saturday morning and at no point did I feel like I was alone or uncomfortable because they were so attentive and willing to give opinions when I needed help.

The second dress shop I went to that day wasn't what I was looking for and my mother in law to be wanted to see the dresses from She Said Yes, so I went back and they fit me in AGAIN with no issues just for her to see some of the dresses I liked.

My only complaint is that they had too many great dresses at great prices. How's a girl supposed to choose just one? That being said, I left without making purchasing a dress but I can guarantee I'll be coming back to pick one.

Thank you so much for a great experience and not making me feel pressured into making a decision the same day. You all are amazing and I will recommend you to anyone looking for a dress for any occasion!

We just left there and I just couldn’t wait to do this review. The experience we had here you just can’t get at those big wedding dress stores. I was not the bride picking out the dress, but as the maid of honor I can truly say I could not have asked for a better experience watching my friend glow with excitement the minute we walked in. All the consultants are so friendly and matched her excitement and energy. However, what truly made the experience was our consultant Hannah. She knew so much about wedding dresses and was so personable. Cracking jokes with us like she was part of the bridal party and made everyone feel so welcomed. The private room to try on dresses, the low prices, the amount of dresses, and the cute photo booth they have set up were just some of the added bonuses. Thank you Hannah for making Amanda the bride feel so special!

I came here in hopes of finding a dress a couple of weeks before my wedding. There were complications with my original dress and I was in a panic. We had my daughters birthday party at Say Yes! They were amazing to work with, party went seamlessly, and the girls had a great time!

On January 21, 2023, I had my bridal appointment at She Said Yes Bridal Boutique. Walking in there with my Maid of Honor, Ashley, one of my bridesmaid, Nicole, and my grandmother, I was excited about this next step in planning our special day! My consultant, Hannah, was PHENOMENAL! After trying on a few dresses, I was discouraged a little bit but me telling Hannah my style and what I wanted, she went out and found my dress! She was amazing with joking and making everyone laugh and feel comfortable but also multitasking to fill my needs and wants during my appointment. When I tried on my dress, I walked out and it wasn’t buttoned all the way which she helped with, in that moment, Hannah, my best friend, her sister, and my grandmother all knew I had found “the one.” I didn’t even think the feeling was real but let me tell you, it is! I didn’t want to take it off and it was the only dress I tried on more than once. Hannah was able to set up where I could make payments on my dress which was a major help! The other day, I walked in hoping to see her but she had a day off and I seen Madison who I cheered with in high school and asked her if I could just look at my dress and she was so excited for me and could also see my face glowing. During that visit, I met the owner Nan who has agreed to marry my fiancée and I which is a blessing! Today, I took my seven year old son in the boutique and tried on my dress. Walking out of the fitting room, my son walked up to me and hugged me and said I looked beautiful which made myself feel even more confident about this dress. Nan, Hannah, and Terry who does alterations there all said my dress looked absolutely gorgeous and that it suited me. Trying it on again for the fourth time was like trying it on for the first time. I absolutely adore these AMAZING women and love them all to death!

Not only did I get 2 Stunning dresses for my daughter. I went in for 1, for a masquerade party, left with another because it was not only one of the most stunning dresses ive ever seen ( when my daughter tried it on my eyes just teared up) they were only 10$! I heard about 10$ dresses, I thought uhmmmm well we'll see, but no, these were truly stunning, just donated and they are always out with the old in with the new that they have this amazing option! I wish everyone knew about this place, and the people who worked there were so so kind!

I brought my black wedding dress here for alterations and left with my dress fitting perfectly! They managed to add a bustle, fix an eyelet hook, hem a good bit of length off, and made sure it looked perfect be for I left! They have to many dresses and accessories as well! Highly recommend!

I went wedding dress shopping here with my family and it was a great experience! I really liked that the dresses are sold off rack and well priced. I tried on dresses from $150 to $800 and all were good quality. I like that you can leave with your dress— you’re not just trying on samples and then ordering it in. I also liked that they had some nice consignment dresses available. Everyone was very nice, friendly, and helpful but not at all pushy. I was a little afraid wedding dress shopping would be more stressful than fun, but this shop made it such a good experience!

She Said Yes was the first and only Bridal Shop that my daughter and I shopped for a wedding dress. Miranda found her dress the first time we went to this beautifully decorated store on their Grand Opening Day.

Update: I spoke with Hannah, a manager. I explained the situation. She apologized and assured me that the associate will be reminded to check about dresses BEFORE she charges a client. Now I just have to wait for the refund. I will update.
I took my daughter here to find the perfect homecoming dress. She had picked out this store and was so excited for her first boutique shopping experience. She even booked her own appointment! We were immediately greeted by a lovely mature lady. She was so nice. My daughter found several dresses that she liked. The lady took us to a private room where my daughter could try on the dresses. She found one that she loved. We decided to purchase the dress. A younger blonde woman checked us out. She rang up the dress and told me it was ready for payment. I paid with my card. After I had paid, this younger woman proceeded to tell us that she’s sorry but she can’t sell us this dress since someone else from my daughter’s school had purchased the same one. This wouldn’t have been an issue except I had already paid for the dress. My daughter overheard this so she immediately became sad and distressed. Now she suddenly can’t have her dream dress. I told my daughter it was ok and to see if she couldn’t find something else that maybe was better. I asked the girl about a refund and told her to wait to see what we found. The girl called the main manager/owner ? on the phone. I had wanted to wait to see what my daughter found before they refunded the transaction. My daughter found a couple of other dresses to try on. The mature lady was helping us and apologizing for the incident. My daughter tried on the dresses and decided she really likes one. We go out to the register. The younger woman tells me my card has been refunded but it’s going to take “several days” for the refund to clear. This is an issue for me. I’m a single mom and had budgeted $150.00 for this dress. Now keep in mind that the first charge was around $128.00. I was now in a position where my daughter found another dress which was below a hundred but when you deduct what I had been charged it didn’t leave me with much. I wound up using credit to be able to buy my daughter’s dress. The mature lady did give us a discount for our issues. She was a really nice and professional sales associate. I was NOT impressed with the younger woman. She should have checked that the dress wasn’t restricted BEFORE she sold it to me and charged me. Then she should have waited before she did the refund to see what the difference between the two charges was. This is especially true considering I was clearly using a card and she should have known the refund wouldn’t be immediate. She caused unnecessary stress by not doing her job properly. The mature lady made the shopping experience good because if it had been the other one I would not be leaving four stars nor recommending this store. I hope the owner reads this and trains her younger employee better.

Best place to shop and get alterations. Terry and Nan are the sweetest people to work with. They are so caring and honest. They have an amazing selection of anything you could need for any occasion. I highly recommend them

This place is amazing!! They recently remodeled the place, and it's very clean and organized.

Wide selection of dresses available, and the ladies there are so sweet and friendly. Both were kind enough to help me and my sisters out as I tried on dresses.

There is a large room in the back for brides to try on dresses - very nicely decorated and spacious, with a large mirror to see the dress and comfortable seating for your gang.

No returns are available at the shop, and know that you will need to pay for parking nearby.

She Said Yes is absolutely the most charming business in the old town Winchester area! The ladies who work there are absolutely lovely, patient, helpful, and fun! The selection of dresses varies greatly in style, size, and color. They were very patient with my indecision and ultimately helped me find a dress I'm in love with for a cost that I am also in love with. They're also doing my alterations for me. I got my wedding dress and a few of the bridesmaids dresses here 4 1/2 years ago. I walk in and the owner still knows my name this is a family run business and they treat you like family no other place I’d rather go this is where I stand on my friends this should be your first place you look for your dresses here in Winchester I don’t know about you but I’d like it when I can walk into a store no matter how busy they are if they see you they take time to come up and give you a hug and talk to you and know who you are by your first name

I like that you can leave with your dress— you’re not just trying on samples and then ordering it in. I also liked that they had some nice consignment dresses available.

Not only was the staff super sweet, they were able to make it a really intimate experience for my mom and I. I can’t recommend this boutique enough. Not the mention that their prices were super affordable and had a great selection of sizes, as well as accessories. I ended up getting a dress, the veil, a hair comb, and a belt for the dress for well under my budget. Pictures don’t do it justice for how beautiful this dress is and sparkles in the sun. I wound up buying the first dress I tried on! Because these are samples you are able to leave with your dress on the same day! there was some pilling and stains but it was completely fixed when I had it altered by tangs in manassas.

Wish they had a better selection for bigger girls alot of the pretty dresses are for smaller sizes the plus size area is very smalls and not many options but the workers are all very kind and make you feel comfortable while in the store

Just bought a homecoming dress this afternoon. Nice variety to look at... lovely help, changing rooms, mirrors. The seamstress was on hand to comment on what different dresses needed to fit properly if they gapped, etc. An all around great experience! Wow! What an amazing experience! I took three of my daughter’s ball gowns to She Said Yes, and they all sold within two weeks! I had considered trying to sell them on Poshmark or Facebook Marketplace, but didn’t have time to invest in taking quality photos and writing detailed descriptions with measurements necessary for an online listing. The staff at She Said Yes Boutique were efficient and professional. The boutique is neat and bright and features a wide selection of gorgeous formal wear, along with dressing rooms. They helped me price the dresses and answered all my questions about the process. But the results speak for themselves! My daughter’s beautiful gowns are being enjoyed by other young ladies. I have cash in my pocket and room in my closet and I didn’t have to take calls, schedule meet-ups or deal with price haggling! I highly recommend this consignment shop and plan to return in the fall with Homecoming styles. Thank you, ladies, for a job well done!

Nothing but 5 star experiences at She Said Yes. I recommend them to anyone shopping for a wedding gown, prom dress, wedding guest or just formalwear.
I went shopping for my wedding dress off the rack here, and the selection was great. I ended up getting a different wedding dress elsewhere, but had a few “top choices” here that would have all been amazing had I not found “the one” elsewhere. They carry a wide range of sizes and have racks full of various styles at every price point and size. But the thing that really makes SSY stand out is the amazing service. The patience and attentiveness of the ladies who work there is unmatched. So many bridal boutiques in the northern VA area tend to be uptight and strict about appointment times, how many dresses you can try etc., but I never felt any of that here. I was never rushed and the ladies were so supportive of me, helping me think through all my choices. They also had great insights on what alterations could be done to each dress and how much they would cost. I felt such relief and comfort working with them and really felt cared for.
My mom also tried several formal gowns for my wedding, and they had a great selection for that as well.
A general note that since they sell off the rack items the selection varies based on when they get new pieces in. If looking for something specific I recommend chatting with the employees and asking them when they’re getting new pieces, they were really forthcoming with letting us know when new looks would be arriving so we could come back and browse the new selection.
They also carry shoes and accessories, even fun pieces for bachelorette parties and bridal showers. I did end up buying a pair of heels here for my wedding at a great price point!
Between the solid selection, friendly service, and affordability, I can’t recommend SSY enough!
